About

RMIT Digital Media is a Bachelor of Design program that provides a studio learning environment for the development of digital media design specialists across interactive media, digital video, digital sound and digital environments.

Students develop specialisations within these core disciplines, including interactive and experience design, web and mobile media design, sound design, visual effects and compositing, motion graphics, virtual and augmented reality design, and digital installation design.

The program focuses on digital design as an emergent field, preparing students to lead future developments through an emphasis on design processes and methodologies, which are applied to particular contexts and challenges in a studio environment.

Students work on projects with industry partners, undertake internships in their final semester, and have the opportunity for study abroad.
